Invidere

Invidere's details as shown by Tom hovering over Invidere in Mianite's death message.

Invidere was World Historian's personal Kikoku and main weapon.

Appearance[]

The blade makes its first and only appearance in the Season Two Finale when it was used to kill Mianite and subsequently and successfully used to attack Waglington, Mot, Tucker, and Martha.

Jordan then shoots World Historian using the Bow of Balance, causing the fall of Ruxomar and unspecified demise of World Historian. The damage done to the realm causes them to escape into a portal that supposedly leads back to Season One's Realm of Mianite, ending Season Two.

Trivia[]

  • "Invidere" is a Latin word. When translated to English, it means "begrudge". Which would make sense as World Historian stated that he begrudged the power that his children (the gods) wielded. Meaning that the weapon symbolized his envy of the god's powers. This is supported by the fact that the Kikoku is the only known weapon capable of killing a divine being.
  • Jordan tried to break World Historian's grave, possibly retrieving the Invidere, but didn't have permissions to break or place blocks in the battle area.
  • While Invidia (sense of envy) and NVIDIA sound similar, this is most likely a coincidence.
